Steelroots Logo

We are partners of a really cool television network called Steelroots, a teen network which is a child of the INSP Television Networks. Programs on the Steelroots TV network include The Steelroots Show, MixxMaster's Lounge, Mayhem, the Top 10 Countdown, and many more. The Steelroots network is broadcast into millions of home in the US and worldwide.

Steelroots was founded by Ben Cerullo, a longtime skater, surfer, and snowboarder, who after a period of fighting God and running from Him, decided to surrender his life to God. He envisioned the ministry of Steelroots, shows geared to reach to people involved in action sports….thus, the Steelroots networks we born.

Youth Commission International and Steelroots have formed a strong partnership that provides numerous benefits to YCI youth leaders, that youth groups and YCI clubs can benefit from. These include being a part of the studio audience during live tapings of the Steelroots Show and MixxMaster's Lounge. There are also youth rallies and other events that we offer to YCI youth leaders, as well as being able to offer Ben Cerullo to speak at your youth event to share his testimony, the history & vision of Steelroots, and talk about the new Kaleidoscope tour. Read below for Ben's bio.

I was born in San Diego and grew up surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. I moved to Charlotte, NC when I was 15 and hated it. As soon as I turned 18 I moved to Vail, CO to pursue my love of snowboarding. While in Vail, I really started getting into drugs and alcohol. After two seasons in Vail, I moved to Mammoth, CA to spend a season snowboarding there. I was still partying, drinking and doing drugs. I knew God was tugging at my spirit but I kept running from Him. I went back to Charlotte to visit my parents for a few months when I ran into an old girlfriend, who now is my wife Jessica. Needless to say I decided to stay in Charlotte and God really began to call me. I always knew He had a plan for me to work in ministry but I ran, I didn't want the responsibility. After a near death experience where I thought I was having a heart attack I realized that it was time to stop running and surrender my life 100% to the Lord. After that I quit drinking and smoking weed and really got into God's Word. I felt called to reach out to people like me who are into action sports. Action sports to me aren't so much sports but a lifestyle, they were a way of life for me and so many others. I felt like God said now is the time I want you to start your ministry and so Steelroots was born. I know this is what God has called me to do. It's awesome to see what God is doing through Steelroots and the lives that are being changed. That's what it's all about... souls.
