A YCI club has raised $400 to help the YCI club in Kenya, Africa build a new hut for a needy family!

The students of the North Rowan Middle School YCI club donated the money to Gethsemane Garden Christian Centre in January of 2011. Gethsemane Garden Christian Centre is a private school on Mfangano Island. As a service project, the YCI club at GGCC goes out into the impoverished community to build new huts for people in need. YCI clubs are involved in several service projects.
